Color coordinate your paper goods using bright pink and lime green along with watermelon napkins. 

A checkered lime green outdoor tablecloth sets the background for this pool party table setting. Layer your place settings with a plastic charger, pink dinner plate and a white salad plate. 

For take home party bags I simply used the watermelon from some birthday invitations and glued them onto white gift bags.  

Lime green polka dot napkins are used as tissue paper and the lime green ribbon makes for a finishing touch. 

Watermelon Pool Party Theme Food Ideas

What could be more refreshing or simple than serving up slices of watermelon?

An easy way to serve this delicious fruit is by simply placing slices on a popsicle stick.  Make several for each person. 

To keep this pool party theme going, serve your guests a watermelon drink or smoothie. 

Ingredients:

2 Cups of Cut up Watermelon

1 Pint of Cut up Strawberries

1/3 Cup of Sugar

1/3 Cup of Lemon Juice (for a frozen alcoholic drink use 1/3 Cup of Lime Vodka)

2 Cups of Ice Cubes

In a container mix the watermelon, strawberries, sugar and lemon juice. You can do this ahead of time. When it's time to serve just put the mix in the blender and add 2 cups of ice cubes. It is really good and refreshing!
